Summer Program 2013
In addition to our semester programs, BCA Universitas offers intensive short-term programs in the summer with a curriculum that focuses primarily on language acquisition and cultural understanding. These programs include classroom teaching and learning, individual home stays designed to help with language practice, films and other cultural activities and local educational excursions. Course offerings in these short-term programs include the following.
June International Program
May 18 – June 15, 2013
Curriculum: A total of 5 credits can be earned on the program. Students take 4 hours of classes each day in the following courses:
Spanish Language (2 hours daily)
Hispanic Culture (1 hour daily)
Conversation (1 hour daily)
Cost: $2,385
Includes tuition, homestay accommodations with meals, orientation, student health insurance coverage, city tour, museum visit and other educational activities. Independent study courses can be arranged if communicated in advance of the program.
July International Program
June 29 – July 20, 2013
Curriculum
Students can take 3 courses and earn 4 credits or they can take 2 courses for 3 credits. All courses meet for 1.5 hours daily. Courses offered from the following list, however, are dependent upon having sufficient enrollments to offer the course.

Art History

Cost: $1,975
